  7. New Partners – Official Announcement

Scott Richards Solicitors are delighted to welcome Camille Wotton and Reuben Barnett into the Partnership.

Camille is a dedicated Private Client Solicitor, having specialised in Wills, Probates/Estate Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney following the completion of her training contract with Scott Richards in 2019.

Reuben is an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, having practiced at a number of local firms, before joining Scott Richards in June 2021. Reuben handles a wide range of property transactions, including buying and selling houses & flats, transfers of equity, re-mortgages and lease extensions.

Jamie Dyson, Managing Partner says, “We are thrilled to announce the promotions of Camille and Reuben in recognition of their contributions not only to Scott Richards, but the legal profession. Becoming a Solicitor takes years of hard work and dedication, and that deserves huge credit. To go one step further by becoming a Partner is something we are very proud to advocate, and both are well deserving of the accolades.

Camille is a real success story for Scott Richards. Having joined us as a legal assistant, Camille has justified every step of her climb through the ranks to Partnership. Camille joining the Partnership reflects her dedication to her trade and exemplifies her patience – something Camille shows in abundance when helping her clients through the complicated nuances of probate at a time when they are grieving. Camille is a very astute lawyer and ranks among the best in the industry, locally for delivering a first-class client service.

Equally, Reuben deserves every part of his success. Having joined the team during the height of the pandemic, Reuben wasted no time in showcasing his leadership qualities and is an extremely popular, and well-respected member of the team. Conveyancing is one of the most pressurised disciplines of law. We live in a world where, as consumers, we demand instant results and patience is becoming a forgotten virtue. Reuben is excellent at allaying any client fears that naturally occur as part of the conveyancing process and he continues to exceed the expectations of his clients.

Both promotions are testament to their hard work, and I am looking forward to supporting them as they learn more about the business operation side of running a legal practice.”

    Congratulations both!

At Scott Richards, we are committed to providing comprehensive legal services in a straightforward and reliable way, whilst maintaining our social and environmental responsibilities. For a first-class service, delivered in a sustainable way, Go Green with Scott Richards Solicitors.

To book an appointment with Camille, Reuben or any of our team at either our Teignmouth or Newton Abbot offices, call 01626 772 441 or email law@scottrichards.co.uk.
