After spending Children in Need 2020 in lockdown 2.0, we were thrilled to be back outside our Teignmouth office with our gazebo!

This year, we also took on a rowing challenge – we wanted to row the length of the River Teign, a huge 31 miles! Visit our Facebook page to see Paralegal, Patrick Nicholls crossing our virtual finish line.

At Scott Richards, our staff wellbeing is one of our top priorities 💚

We never underestimate its value and so aim to create an environment where staff feel able to talk openly about any issues they may have, including & importantly their mental health.

In October 2021, Assistant, Lydia Foley, Operations Manager, Hayley-Jane Smithurst & Partner, Sean Mercer attended Mental Health First Aid England’s intensive, 2-day MH First Aider Course.

The course teaches ‘in depth skills for providing first aid to people who may be experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and psychosis.’

‘As a team, we found this course incredibly informative & helpful. Sean, Lydia and I agree that we have gained valuable skills that will help us to appropriately support our colleagues if and when needed.” ~ Hayley
